Renovation of Can Lluc farmhouse restaurant

The Can Lluc remodelling project appears in the press

Can Lluc is a charming rural hotel located in the heart of Ibiza, specifically in the village of Sant Rafel. Our interior design studio has had the pleasure of designing and carrying out the complete renovation of the restaurant of this agrotourism. Do you want to know what they say about our work in the media? Keep reading!

The project for redecorating the restaurant spaces had to respond to a clear philosophy: to provide an intimate, welcoming and rustic atmosphere, in harmony with the line of the hotel itself and very much inspired by typical Ibizan architecture.

For this reason, Provencal-style furniture, wrought-iron elements, linen and cotton textiles have been used and a very specific chromatic range has been chosen (earthy, green and natural tones).

From our blog we would like to thank Tina Soriano and Lucas Prats, the founders of Can Lluc, for trusting our team of interior designers in Ibiza and for providing the traditional tools and utensils of the Ibizan countryside to put the finishing touches to a project that has motivated us from the very first minute.

«Fresh and Mediterranean hints»

General view of the remodelling project carried out by interior designers Marta Farré and Pepe Costa

The restaurant magazine Catalunya Gastronòmica has covered this interior design work in Ibiza. The "fresh hints" and the "Mediterranean style" are the aspects that stand out most in their report, as well as the collaboration at all times with the owners of Can Lluc.

"Marta Farré and Pepe Costa, from Farré & Costa Interiors studio, have been the key architects of this renovation and have managed to capture the idea" and refine a style "connected by a conceptual and aesthetic thread" throughout the rural hotel.

On the other hand, reference is also made to the use of Ibiza brands (cushions and pouffes by Calma House, lighting by La Brasa and CB Electric, etc.) and the unveilling of the "very elegant and functional" open-plan space "with a sober decoration and simple lines".

«Ibiza's rural architecture traces the entire conceptual theme»

Our interior designers in Ibiza have used utensils and elements of Ibizan architecture

The tourism and HORECA (hotels, restaurants and cafés) portal, Proveedores Hosteltur, has also written a review of the project that our interior designers have carried out in Ibiza.

In this review, they highlight the recovery of "original pieces of the house, dating back more than 300 years, such as the old farming tools of the owner's grandfather" and respect for the "conceptual line of Ibizan architecture".

With this renovation, Can Lluc faces the beginning of this year 2020 with renewed airs and with the illusion of defending the title of Best International Product of the Rusticae Awards.

An award-winning boutique hotel concept

Rusticae award obtained by Can Lluc farmhouse - Blog of the interior design studio Farré & Costa

Obtaining this award was not by chance and is the result of a job well done. But above all, for the great efforts of a small family hotel to "promote the essence of Ibiza", as you can read at Can Lluc's blog.

Rusticae was born in 1997 and "values the work of small independent hotels over large chains". This is why this award is so special, and why we are so happy to be a part of it! Congratulations!
