Comprehensive refurbishment of an Indian restaurant.
The rectangular shape of the available space enabled us to lay out the areas of the restaurant longitudinally. Bright colours, geometric shapes, the use of dark hardwoods and a subdued and somewhat decadent lighting take diners straight to India from the very beginning.
At the entrance, lighting using colourful braids is a portent of things to come. In the dining area, which is by and large open, a series of two-tone carved wooden arches were used to create divisions and more intimate spaces without the need for any further works. In this way, there are tables for groups or for two or four people in the same area.
At the back, there's a raised dining area reminiscent of tents for more informal dining, with low benches, many cushions, lots of colour and privacy. In order to create the atmosphere of a tent and lower the ceiling, we used a canopy of gold chains interspersed with lamps.
