Description
Update and integral reform for the noble areas of a family-owned hotel.
The intention of the project was to give it a contemporary and updated air, but without losing the simplicity and fresh and luminous character of the island of Ibiza.
The aim was to avoid stridency by giving way to natural materials such as oak wood and natural fibres such as jute and rattan and to use a palette of neutral colours between limestone and white. With the intention of giving a personal character to the space, the terracotta colour, so typical of Ibizan decoration and architecture, was established as the common thread. Thus, we find it in the three spaces into which the project has been divided: reception, patio and bathrooms, applied in different ways.
For the "coffee corner" the colour mustard was used to give a more rogue touch, which has been extrapolated to the textiles.
The use of lush vegetation and elements such as handmade terracotta lamps complete the adapted concept proposed for these spaces.
