Comprehensive refurbishment of the spa & wellness centre. With a floor area of 2,500 m2, the refurbishment was intended to add new traction baths and treatments that would provide an all-in-one experience where users can do a spa circuit, have a massage or enjoy a healthy snack.
To this end, we created an itinerary with a decidedly Caribbean feel and a sophisticated, relaxing touch. With this premise, the circuit features native vegetation all throughout the areas, as well as sculptural elements such as arches at different levels to emphasise the magnificence of the Spa and, at the same time, to enclose the areas as the building has very high ceilings.
The main pool was modified in order to offer more treatments and to accommodate a two-tiered infinity edge jacuzzi.
A careful selection of natural stone cladding such as marble, limestone and granite helped give the Spa a more natural and untamed appearance.
For the private treatment areas, we chose wood and fabric cladding for better acoustics and to boost the feeling of well-being.
